Will's late football game, and driving several of the players to a local pizza place for an unexpected post-game dinner, (not in my evening plans), left me very little time to squeeze in my ride today. By the time I got home at 6:45, I had five minutes to dash out the door before dark settled in. The sun was setting to my back as I headed to the beach, with really no time for a ride, but at least I had a chance to clear my head. Living with a self-centered teenager takes it's toll sometimes... and the five-mile mini-escape made me feel a whole lot better.
The skies were bright pink and purple tonight... the photo above is the light over the harbor just as the sun popped under the horizon. A beautiful night.
