It was 36 degrees when I woke up at 6 am, and no way was I ready for the cold. Fortunately, by the time I headed out to Manchester at 8:30, the temps had risen to the low 50s.
I actually didn't have much time for a ride today -- I needed to be back in Swampscott for a football game at 11:30. (Will plays for the JV, but I had a parent assignment to cover at the varsity game, and Mike was working).
I'm glad I made time for the ride. It was nice to get in some decent miles, (a little under 30), before watching the Big Blue varsity get crushed by Winthrop, 28-12.
(Sigh. I left at halftime to head into Boston to catch the Mayor's Cup criterium.)
Day 20 of Thirty Days of Biking... and we're two-thirds done.
