Well, yesterday's Labor Day trail ride with Chip was Day 1 of my September 30 Days of Biking challenge... And tonight's ride for Day 2 took me to Marblehead on a hot, steamy, stormy night.
I landed a flat just before hitting the Marblehead causeway -- (an easy fix) -- but could hear rumbles in the distance from an approaching storm, so I headed home. Fortunately, the rain passed within the hour, still giving me enough time to get in more miles. Coming down the hill at the end of our neighborhood, I caught a rainbow popping up over the beach.
