I'm not a runner... but still ran 3.3 miles today for the EOD Warrior Foundation. I couldn't be in San Diego today for the 5k Memorial Day race, but there was no reason why I couldn't run the miles here at home. (Not owning proper running shoes isn't an excuse.)
Chip and Davey joined me for my run. They are both 12 years old and can run a 7 minute mile, but they kept me company anyway. (Good boys.) It was a slow pace -- but I got it done -- and hope friends running in San Diego had a great day. We honor all who've made the ultimate sacrifice while protecting our freedom this Memorial Day.
