I've been thinking a lot about new goals for 2014. Many of you know I've been a tad aimless since the Undefeated EOD Ride last month, trying to look ahead to 2014. I need something to focus on during the off season.
One goal is to continue riding next year for the charities that mean a lot to me. (Though I did promise to cut back on a few of my fundraising rides in 2014.) I'm already registered for the Tour de Cure in May.
Another definite goal is to get down to Bethesda, Maryland in the spring to ride with Tim Brown. Tim just took delivery on a new custom-made handcycle and tells me it's lighter and faster than the one in the above photo from the Undefeated ride, and he's using more muscles and getting stronger. I'm going to have to stay in shape this winter if I have any chance of keeping up with him.
So... it's time for me to pull it together... because that Marine is not going to cut me any slack.
