I had a terrific day volunteering in Bourne on Saturday with several other Cyclopaths (with most of us planning to ride on Sunday). We spent many years finishing our first day of the ride at Mass Maritime -- and looking back at our team pic of 24 riders from just a half dozen years ago, it's hard to believe that only one of us, Brian Carver, was riding on Saturday. (His 26th PMC from Sturbridge to Provincetown.) The rest of us have moved to the Sunday route(s) for various reasons. (Mine being the opportunity to ride with Will.)
We managed to snag a photographer to snap off a few team pics, missing Brenda and Mike Meehan in the first go. Meehan showed up minutes later with a full Harpoon beer in his hand, (ha ha...), so we had to beg the photographer to take a few more photos. So typical.
Congrats, Brian, on your 26th Pan Mass Challenge!
