It was great to get out for a dry Cyclopath ride on Saturday, after 2 weekends of rain and missing last week due to yet another rainy Saturday. (I do get tired of being wet and cold all of the time!) We had only eight riders on Saturday, which happens to be our core group these days. Our destination was Topsfield, where the annual Topsfield Fair is currently underway. The route was a little busier than normal, possibly due to the fair (though really, too early in the morning for fair goers), but we had a great ride along the rolling hills through Wenham into Topsfield. The leaves are just starting to turn and we had peeks of early fall foliage on the way. Breakfast was at The Daybreak Cafe -- a new destination for us. (Sheldon recalled visiting with Av, Manny and Sam years ago.) We had a great breakfast and a great ride, (30 miles for me from Swampy), and survived the crazy tourists in Salem on our return.
