We had a spectacular ride to Mad Martha's, Plum Island, on Saturday -- A gorgeous day and a surprisingly easy ride despite my lack of miles lately. (At this point I'm depending on the base miles I earned earlier in the season.) Only 8 of 17 riders made the trek to Plum Island, with the rest of the gang staying behind in Ipswich for breakfast. The PMC is 3 weeks away, and most of us were noting how far behind in our mileage we are. (I'm doing my best to get more mileage in during the week.) Next weekend we ramp it up to 75 miles for the Cohen Tri-State Classic. Fun.
