Saturday's ride was great - 35 miles - Salem to Boxford, through Bradley Palmer State Park and back. Not a lot of mileage but I had a strong ride and picked up my overall speed a bit.We had a large group of 24 riders starting out in the morning. It's fun starting out as a large group - but then it becomes cumbersome at breakfast, overwhelming the establishments we visit. When we reached Boxford, the group split up with one group continuing 2 miles towards Georgetown. We regrouped later in Wenham center after a great ride through Topsfield and Bradley Palmer State Park. Nice warm day with a slight breeze. Great day.
